British Canoeing have introduced a great range of new awards for paddlers just starting out on their paddlesport journey. These are the Start, Discover and Explore Awards,

These awards a great way get involved particularily if you have no experince in paddlesports. The courses are designed to give particpants essential knowledge to get started from basic kit & clothing requirements and simple paddling techniques right through to develping the paddlers confidence and ultimately independance to head out there and enjoy the UK's waterways safely.
